Julie has a clinical background as an Intensive Care Nurse and educator in major teaching hospitals in Melbourne and Sydney. She has a Master’s degree in bioethics from Monash University and, as a former Manager of Clinical Ethics and Policy in the NSW Ministry of Health, she has a passion for, and has lead in the promotion of clinical ethics and public health ethics in the NSW health system. She is a member of the Advisory Board to the Centre for Agency, Values and Ethics at Macquarie University and a peer reviewer for the Journal of Bioethical Enquiry.
